We have reviewed our support and decided to implement the maintenance service, effective on April 1, 2009.

Inquiries from the customers

who have not purchased the Maintenance Service,

or who have purchased the Program Maintenance Service

 

With the implementation of the Maintenance Service, the support to those who are not using the Maintenance Service, or who have the Program Maintenance Service has become non-free.
Please use the Inquiry Support Form for any inquiries.
For inquiries by phone, call our Support Center AFTER you fill in your contact information such as company name on the Inquiry Support Form, and send it to us.
We would like to send you an invoice once your inquiry is closed by our reply.

Those who are under consideration of purchasing TPiCS do not need the form for inquiries. Just contact our Support Center to let them know your inquiries.

The users who have applied for the Annual Maintenance Service are eligible for free support by phone, fax, and e-mail, free remote access support and free data verification service. Besides, they can enjoy other services for discount prices. Refer to the page of Maintenance Service for details.

We will respond to your inquiries on the functions and how-tos of TPiCS, and the operation with TPiCS.

 Remote Access Support

We will access your computer screens from our Support Center via the Remote Access, and check the status of the system. This allows us to solve the problem you are having in a short amount of time.
Please be advised that there may be a case where the Remote Access won
t be available because of your connection environment of the Internet, or the lack of executable OS authority of the remote software.

Data Verification Service

We will keep your data to solve a problem. This allows us to perform the verification of your data on our site and to examine the problem even by debugging related programs. Therefore, it will give us easier way to solve your problem.

On-site Support

- Explanation of the operation procedures, and explanation of the perspective of TPiCS

Setting changes of parameters and changes to their related data

Examination and explanation of the MRP calculation result
- Investigation of the causes of errors and their recoveries
- Conversion work towards the new compilation date

We will carry out our problem-solving tasks through cooperation with our development department during the on-site support.
No preparation work such as examination of your data will be performed prior to our visit to your site.

Improvements on manner of operation verified with your operation, data recovery work, or version upgrade work wont be available.
Anything other than the functions of TPiCS will be excluded from the support. e.g., anything on hardware, network, database, customization (add-ons), and such.

A specified fee will be charged to you regardless of the outcome.

On-site Workshop

You can select lectures from our workshops held at TPiCS Laboratory, and adjust the speed of our lectures.

No limit to the number of participants.

We will provide you with as many as 10 notebooks at the maximum for the workshop.

Please have your projector, screen, extension cord, and whiteboard ready for the workshop.

Please print the workshop textbook for yourself and bring it to the workshop.

- We will restore corrupted data due to some sort of trouble. (We will not repair any hardware troubles.)

Installation and Briefing

We will install TPiCS, create the database environment, and perform necessary environmental settings.
Since we estimate that it will normally take a few hours, we would like to give you a brief explanation of the functions of TPiCS for the rest of the day.

Version Upgrade Support

We will help you upgrade TPiCS from an old version to a new version.

The Version Upgrade Support consists of the On-site Support and the Data Conversion Service.

The first method is to use the On-site Support only; the second one is for you to complete the conversion work after taking advantage of our Data Conversion Service; and the third one is for us to perform the preliminary Data Conversion Service and to do the On-site Support after that.

2. Data Conversion Service

You are required to send us the data of your version. In our office, we will perform the conversion on the data you have sent us, resolve inconsistent data if necessary, create such data that a new version can import, and send them to you.

Version Upgrade

Upgrading to Version 3.2 may cost you some.
Basically it will be calculated as 30% of the total purchase price (= Base System + Options + one-fifth of Operating License for LAN.)
But those who have applied for the Maintenance Service will have it free of charge or at a discount price depending on the kind of service.
